FAQ

What age are the classes suitable for?

We have classes for children and adults all together. Children can join the classes from the age of 5, although we have younger students who have started their training as young as 4 years old by taking private lessons until they reach the minimum age of 6 and can join the groups. There is no maximum age limit.

Can I try before I sign up?

Yes, of course. The first lesson is always free to try it out. Simply get in touch to let us know you'd like to come for a trial lesson. We can't offer trial lessons for after school clubs in the schools themselves.

Do I need to have a good level of fitness to participate?

Our lessons are tailored to cater for the individual needs of our students. Dance and Drama increases ones physical fitness as it is a high cardiovascular activity and improves mental wellbeing. Anyone can join regardless of their fitness level prior to joining.

Do your classes run all year round?

We run classes termly following the school calendar. We take a break for summer, Christmas and half-terms. While classes are on a break we try to run camps, retreats and private lessons for those who wish to continue training.

I have never participated in Dance & Drama before, would your class be suitable?

Our classes are suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Prior experience in Dance and Drama or any Performing Arts is not necessary.

How do I register for your classes?

Please go to the Our Classes section and choose which one you are interested in. Simply click on the button and follow the instructions to sign up. If you still have questions please get in touch through the CONTACT US section.

Are your instructors qualified?

All of our instructors and self-employed contractors are fully DBS enhanced checked and hold valid insurance to teach. Our instructors and self-employed contractors are highly experienced in the Performing Arts field and also qualified to perform first-aid.

What should I wear?

Performing Arts ‘Blacks’ are mandatory to attend classes, exams, competitions and events. New students can ask their club's instructor on how to purchase them. For the first lesson students can wear comfortable sports clothing, after that ICA uniforms are mandatory to continue participating. ICA training is always done barefoot.

How do the payments work?

Currently all payments are half termly and are made directly through the website after filling out the membership form. Each class/package has its own fee specified at the courses page. Each class/package has the details of the dates of start-end of term. Each term's fees include a minimum of 5 weeks to a maximum of 6 weeks. If in any case the term's dates/lessons are modified by the club, the fees won't change unless the term runs less than the minimum required in which case a refund or discount code will be given.
